The band was formed in Feb 2019 made up of the following members:
Greg Mearn – Lead Guitar
David Barnes – Bass Guitar & Vocals
Joanna Funk – Keyboards, Melodica & Vocals
Ian Smeed – Saxophone, Harmonica, Guitar & Vocals
Mano Arumugam – Drums & Vocals
It was towards the end of 2018 when I met Ian who had recently moved to the Valley. Having a common interest in music we talked about putting a band together.
We quickly went about rounding up the local talents and after several weeks of practise gelled to the current members in Feb 2019.
Named after Cannon Creek that runs through Kooralbyn and keeping with the flavour of the regional surroundings, CCCB generally play covers of popular Country & Western, Rock ‘n Roll, Country Rock and Blues.
